About Scott Medole

Scott Medole

Scott has lived in the Clarence Township since moving from Akron, NY in 1976.  He graduated from Clarence High School in 1980 and went on to get his BS  from SUNY @ Fredonia in Business Administration.  Upon completion of his degree he enlisted in the United States Air Force as a medic serving his country.  After his Honorable Discharge as a Medic in 1989 from the USAF he joined the family insurance agency working with his father, Norm Emerling, on his personal insurance clients.  Norm’s vast experience and knowledge of personal insurance gave him the confidence over the years to handle existing clients and new clients coming along as 2nd and 3rd generation clients.

Scott continues to be an active member of the community where he has been a 2nd generation volunteer fireman for over 35 years at Harris Hill VFC, where he’s presently the Fire Chaplain.  He is also involved with Clarence Chamber of Commerce, several local credit unions, volunteers, whenever he can, to promote events in the Clarence and Akron area, and his church, the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Outside of work Scott enjoys working out, spin class, biking, hiking the Adirondack High Peaks, golf, fishing, hunting, visiting his daughter in Phoenix where she’s a school guidance counselor, and hanging out at the fire hall with his son, Austin, a 3rd generation fireman waiting for the alarm to go off to help anyone in need!
